Role Description
TechPods is a UK-based technology co-sourcing company with offices in Bath, England and Sofia, Bulgaria. Unlike traditional IT outsourcing companies, TechPods' fully transparent model enables companies to scale quicker, while mitigating risk and reducing costs. We strongly believe that traditional outsourcing is dead, and the key to long-term success lies within partnering, as opposed to vendoring.
We’re seeking a UX Designer to join a collaborative, fast-moving team at the intersection of Product and Technology, where design has a seat at the table - from strategy to delivery. We value quality, curiosity, and candour, working in short iterations, shipping frequently, and building solid foundations without cutting corners. We’re building a brand-new platform from the ground up, with design at its heart. As a UX Designer, you’ll join our product team on a fixed-term basis, working alongside our full-time UX Designer. You’ll own design work across customer-facing journeys, with a strong focus on sales and conversion journeys and B2C experiences for tenants and landlords.
What you’ll be doing
- Design end-to-end journeys for tenants, landlords and letting agents, from first touch to completion
- Work closely with our Product Managers to improve conversion across sales journeys (sign-up, purchase, onboarding, upsell)
- Produce wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs in Figma
- Contribute to and maintain our design system with the existing UX Designer
- Present complex legal and compliance information in a clear, consumer-friendly way
- Design to WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards
- Support developers through build, QA and release
What we're looking for
- Proven experience designing B2C digital products
- A track record of designing sales or conversion journeys with measurable results
- A strong portfolio showing your process, not just final screens
- Advanced Figma skills, including prototyping and component libraries
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
- Confident communicator who can explain and defend design decisions
Nice to have:
- Experience in proptech, fintech, insurance or another regulated consumer sector
- Experience with B2B2C products (serving businesses and their customers)
- A/B testing and analytics tools (e.g. GA4, Hotjar, Mixpanel)
- Designing complex forms, checkouts or onboarding flows
- Mobile-first design experience
