We are currently seeking a Ruby Developer for our UK-based partner, a renowned global B2B brand. They are industry leaders, providing a comprehensive digital platform that facilitates in-room, hybrid, and virtual Annual General Meetings (AGMs) for the world's largest corporations and membership organisations. Their proprietary and patented technology enables the digitisation of the entire AGM lifecycle within a single, innovative solution.
What you’ll be doing
- Building secure voting solutions
- Implementing pre-designed cryptographic engines and mechanisms
- Identifying and writing testing scenarios that ensure system confidence
- Working in and constructing container environments
About your profile
- You have 3+ years of experience as a Ruby software developer
- You have experience from working with agile methods and are solution-oriented
- You understand the value of developing secure software - maybe you have been working with cryptography before, or find it interesting
- If you have experience in solution design/architecture of critical systems, it is an advantage, but not a key
- You are democratic minded, and your integrity is not for sale!
- You have strong opinions; held loosely
- You are a fan of “clear text” and alignment of expectations in your communication
- You thrive in a dynamic environment with a wide variety of stakeholders, critical deadlines and high expectations from voters (and the public) to succeed with each election
- It gives you energy to work with and to overcome advanced technical challenges
