We are looking for a .NET API Developer to join one of our partners - a global B2B brand and the leading digital platform for in-room, hybrid, and virtual AGMs for the world’s largest corporations and membership organisations. Their proprietary, patented technology digitises the entire AGM lifecycle within a single solution, providing software, hardware, and services to manage delegate registration securely, live polling, Q&A, and reporting.
As a key developer, you will work with Microsoft Orleans technology to build new functionality and integrate APIs with external business partners and clients, contributing to the continued success of their market-leading platform during an exciting time of industry transformation.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop robust and scalable API functionality for a cloud-based voting and registration platform, including complex integrations with global business partners and clients including the world’s largest banks and financial institutions
- Work with the technical teams and external partners to design and implement the API integrations in accordance with business needs
- Collaborate in the design and launch of new components and services in interaction with other teams if needed
- Working in an agile team of specialists and generalists
- Automatically test and produce code as part of our continuous delivery pipeline
- Eager to learn, passionate about technology and happy to spread knowledge across teams to improve existing products and processes.
- Plan and produce delivery estimates to allow total development costs to be proposed and approved
What we’ll expect from you
- Deep experience with creating and maintaining .NET Core API’s
- Proven experience in developing RESTful APIs for data transition
- Expert-level knowledge and experience with C#/.NET overall, especially .NET 8 & 9
- Comfortable collaborating within a team of front-end and back-end specialists
- Experience with Azure DevOps, especially Git Repositories, Azure Pipelines, Azure Releases, and Azure Artifacts
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles is an advantage
- Experience in OAuth 2, OpenID Connect, and SAML is desirable
Nice to have:
- Experience with Microsoft Orleans and Angular 18+
